SECAC Star Awards  The Anne Arundel County Special Education
Citizens’ Advisory Committee (SECAC) has been honored to sponsor the SECAC Star Awards. Over the past few years, we have honored many AACPS staff members for providing outstanding support to students with special needs and their families. SECAC has recently determined that we will not be sponsoring the STARS event this year due to a lack of resources, both from a planning and support perspective as well as a funding perspective. We are exploring other approaches to providing recognition to AACPS staff that provide outstanding support to students with special needs and welcome suggestions from our stakeholders.
